Senior Pastors: Jim & Carrie Ayers
Pastor Jim and Carrie have served Lifechurch since 2001 as Senior Pastors. They bring with them a wealth of life and ministry experience from over three decades of pastoral ministry. Under their leadership, Lifechurch has grown to one of the Salt Lake areas largest evangelical churches. They have two grown and married daughters and six grandchildren who are the joy of their lives.

Senior Associate Pastors: Sid & Tara Casillas
Sid graduated from Central Bible College in 1997. After marrying Tara in the same year, they began ministry in Salt Lake City by assisting in a church plant. They also began teaching at Valley Christian School (Life Christian Academy) and in 1998 they were asked to create a Junior High ministry for Lifechurch. In 1999, they took the roles of Youth Pastors and also began a Master’s Commission. With the arrival of Pastor Jim in 2001 Sid became the Associate Pastor and Tara continued to lead the Music ministry.

Associate Pastors: Matt & Christie Voss
Matt received his ministry training at the former Phoenix First Assembly Master's Commission program and in 1994 was part of a Master's Commission planting team at the International Church of Las Vegas. He married Christie in 1997 and they began their first full-time position as Youth Pastors in Tooele, UT. Matt & Christie accepted an Associate position at Lifechurch in 2006 after serving as Youth & Associate Pastors for 6 years in Grand Junction, CO. Currently, Matt & Christie lead the Young Adults and have oversight of the Media at Lifechurch. They also assist in the music ministry.

Administrative Pastors: John & Karin Heckathorn
John and Karin met at Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. John graduated in 1993 and joined the staff of Teen challenge of Arkansas in Hot Springs, Arkansas, as the Director of Operations and senior minister/counselor. Karin graduated from CBC in 1994. She and John were married one month later and joined John on staff at Teen Challenge as the Director of Development and Fund-raising. John and Karin accepted the senior pastorate of Del Norte Assembly of God in Del Norte, Colorado in 1996. John and Karin have been in Salt Lake City since 1998. They served with Pastor Sieg Krueger, of Mountain View Christian Assembly in Sandy for over 6 years. The Heckathorns currently serve on staff at Lifechurch, as the Administrative/Mission's Pastors. John and Karin have two sons, John Carter and Christian Paul.

Youth Pastors: Dustin & Heather Williams
Dustin received ministry training during his internship at Grand Junction First Assembly (Victory Life Church) in Colorado. Dustin took his first full time Youth Pastor position in Rifle, Colorado. Dustin married Heather in 2005 and accepted a position at Lifechurch working with community outreach and children's ministry. In 2007 Dustin and Heather became our Youth Pastors where they have seen God do incredible things.

Children's Pastors: Marco & Rebecca Alvarado
Marco and Rebecca met in Santiago, Chile when Rebecca was on a missions trip to help build an outreach center for kids at Marco's church. They married in 2009 and started working as a team in Kids Life. Marco has over 10 years of experience working in children's ministry in his country. In Chile he worked alongside missionaries Jim and Esther Mazurek in the creation of a ministry to rescue children at risk. He participated in a clown ministry bringing the gospel throughout all of Chile. Before moving to the United States he was the youth pastor for 5 years at his church. In 2012 he accepted the position of Children's Pastor at Life Church.
