Exiles of Hope | Chosen by God

Focusing on our dual identity as believers—we are both chosen by God and exiles in this world. 
Drawing from 1 Peter 1:1-2, Peter wrote to scattered churches facing persecution and cultural pressure, reminding them (and us) that while this world challenges our faith, we are purposefully chosen and placed by God. 
The entire Trinity is invested in our lives: the Father planned it, the Spirit set us apart, and the Son paid for it with His blood. This reality gives meaning to our uncertainty and empowers us to live counter-culturally without either blending into the world or withdrawing from it entirely.
